Welcome to Week 4 and your one-stop-shop for all things high school football in Connecticut.

It’s back in the league this week after an exciting previous week of interconference games.

Here are some of the games we watch on Friday night. Primer and streaming links below. For live updates, Follow all the #cthsfb action on Twitter here.

In CCC, rival Berlin-Bloomfield battle it out for the top spot in Tier III. In the Pequot, North Branford is heading towards Cromwell/Portland in a battle for supremacy of the Sassacus Division. SMSA takes on Ellington in a fight for first place in Uncas.

CSC features an intriguing match between tiers involving Fairfield Prep (Tier I) at Hamden (Tier II) and a potentially formidable showdown of CSC Tier III, Branford at Law. There are also some good Tier I matchups, Shelton-North Haven. Barlow versus Notre Dame-Fairfield is key for the SWC. In the FCIAC, the Petroccio Bowl – Staples to Trumbull – takes center stage.

On Saturday, NVL undefeated WCA (Division II) and Holy Cross (I) meet in a central match at the Municipal. In NEPSAC, potential college stars go head-to-head when Loomis Chaffee and Avon Old Farms meet in a match that could definitely settle the Founders League title.
