Free Medicare Intro to Melt Bar and Grilled

My Medicare Network attempts to clarify Medicare coverage for seniors.

Every day in the United States, 10,000 people reach the age of 65, and the number of older adults will more than double over the next few decades to reach 88 million people and represent more than 20% of the population of 2050, according to a press release. of My Health Insurance Network.

Insurance agent Barb Bandagski said in the press release that the goal is to make Medicare easy for people to understand.

“Normally when people are just starting to get Medicare, it can be so confusing,” Bandagski said. “There’s not a lot of really good, reliable information that people can access.”

My Medicare Network will be hosting a free Medicare educational class at 6 p.m., March 29-31, at Melt Bar and Grilled, 35546 Detroit Road in Avon.

“We deal with all major carriers in northeast Ohio,” Bandagski said. “A lot of what we do is education in the community.”

Avon Melt Bar and Grilled will provide menu selection and access to their event room.

Bandagski said all My Medicare Network services are free.

“Our services are completely free,” she said. “It doesn’t matter if they need year-round follow-up or researching a new drug, they’ll never write us a check.”

She said there will be more My Medicare Network sessions in April.

“There are several locations in northeast Ohio where we will be hosting an informational dinner,” Bandagski said. “We will also be in Independence, Lakewood and Medina in April.”

There is no charge for the events, but advance RSVPs are required, she said.
